Sulphur Mountain Visitors on Walkway

Visitors walking along the Sulphur Mountain summit boardwalk are an iconic part of the Banff Gondola experience. The elevated wooden walkway carries guests away from the upper terminal and across the exposed mountain ridge toward Sanson's Peak and the Sulphur Mountain Historic Site.

Visitors walking toward Sanson's Peak can watch mountain ridges change from daylight into gold, orange, pink and purple sunset colours, while those returning toward the Banff Gondola can see the summit building beginning to glow against the darkening mountains.
